Re: frustrating!
Grrrr. I was impressed by the videos of a Linden using the SpaceNavigator so bought one right away... It came yesterday but so far I have not been able to get it to work for Second Life. I have downloaded the latest Navigator driver and software. I have downloaded the latest version of the Release ...

I agree. Why does support have to be added *per application*? JNLN, Navstar: thanks for your opinion. I'd love to see support for all Mac apps that have 3d navigation: Electric Image 7, After Effects, Motion, OsiriX (medical imaging), Hexagon, Silo, modo, Shake, etc... OsiriX already suppports it: ...

Re: Secondlife Support and getting other vendors on the ball
Secondlife support for the Spacenav is in the RC candidates of the viewer.. My only problem is it tends to ignore any change of user settings from the Spacenav control panel and handle things internally.. On Windows our driver is cut out. You have to open the preferences inside Second Life to tune ...

like I said earlier, linux support is not there yet. You are trying to compile the free driver, but that won't help: the current SL client app is not interfacing with it. Linux support for our devices will come to SL, but we don't know a date as of now. Hi ettore, Thank you for the prompt reply. Ca...

Hi Armin, I am not really sure why Linden Labs put the Linux version up there: joystick support on Linux is simply not yet implemented. In fact, we didn't mention it in our press release: http://www.3dconnexion.com/news/press/040308_secondlife.php They should at least release note it. Yes, in order ...

What app would you like to see supported on Mac OS X?
Choose the one you use the most. If it's missing from the list, add it as a reply to the topic and I'll add it to the list. BTW "All" doesn't apply.

Leopard 10.5.2 Sketchup 6.4.245 It works fine in a blank document any other document I have it doesn't work. Ken- hi Ken: question, do you see the jerky motion on Mac OS X 10.4 as well? From my tests I see no differences on our plugin performance between 10.4 and 10.5, however I am not able to repr...

Looking at this again today it is deffinetly the documents that I'm using but all the documents are clean. They have been purged of all extraneous data and in some cases if certain items that are complex are removed it does speed up the use of SN but not enough to make it usable. Besides, I can twi...
