that would be just fantastic.. tried yesterday to record a camera animation with Motion 3 after doing one in 3d max... it's a pain...
with the space navigator i could shrink 4 hours into 30 minutes of work!
Motion actually supports third party plugins.. would this be a possible way to do it?

i did the video myself, and used ableton live + reaktor to make this example:

www.native-instruments.com
but you can achieve this kind of results with any virtual instrument that accepts midi CC's
for the translation, you can try Plogue Bidule

that's a nice idea, and can allready be achieved with some nice levels of control
