Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
I'm a user of Autodesk Inventor 2023 on a Macbook Air M2 via Parallels. Inventor works better and faster than on my old Legion Y740 with i7 and RTX2060 and I'm very grateful that I finally can use only one laptop whatever I'm doing.
I'm using SpaceMouse Wireless and my only issue is that I can't set the speed of the mouse and reassign a button. I'm changing speed but it doesn't make any changes in my software.
Please 3dconnexion team.. give us something.. even some tips on how to manually change speed.

are you only seeing this issue in Inventor, or do you see it in other applications?
Can you open The Viewer and see if the issue is there as well?
Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Sounds like this is again due to the missing filter driver 3dxhid.sys, and KMJ Emulator on Win11 ARM platform, so all customizable settings are ignored. 3DConnexion developers, please consider compiling Windows ARM versions of these to help us Parallels users on Apple Silicon, please...
Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Are you able to invert puck directions? Puck works fine on macOS end but in Parallels in Windows for me I'm unable to invert any of the axes in 3Dconnexion settings. Trying to use this with NX.MDW wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:59 am I also have the v10-8-14 driver installed on a M3 MacBook Pro with Parallels/Windows 11 ARM. I intended to use a recently purchased SpaceMouse Enterprise with SketchUp. For reference, I am using extensions only available for the Windows version of Sketchup. The device's primary functions are working correctly, i.e., puck. The programmable buttons (1 through 12) will accept native SketchUp commands; however, I cannot assign a macro/keystroke to them. The primary keys on the SpaceMouse Enterprise are not functioning: ESC, Enter, Tab, Shift, CTRL, Alt, Space & Delete. Except for the delete button, all buttons on the right side of the device are functioning. I've contacted technical services from 3Dconnexion, Trimble/SketchUp, and Parallels, none of which could resolve the issue.
I see value in using this device and hope this forum can provide a solution.
Computer: 16" Apple Mackbook Pro M3 MAX, 48GB
macOS: Sonoma 14.4
Parallels VM: v19.3.0
SketchUp Pro: v23.1.340 64-bit
3DConnexion Driver: 3DxWare64_v10-8-14_r3575
Windows OS: Windows Pro 11 Build 23H2
MacBook Pro 14" M2 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.4

I'm trying to run Solidworks 3DExperience on an M2 Pro Max like some of you above and the add-in is just not launching.
Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Windows 11 adds the ability to run unmodified x64 Windows apps on Arm devices!

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Hi DavidV,
I've also checked in The Viewer, and unfortunately, changing the speed in 3DsmartUI doesn't affect The Viewer either. However, the device works fine in The Viewer with quite good speed. In Inventor, though, it's way too fast and hard to control.
I also noticed that 3DsmartUI doesn't detect which Inventor module I'm in. Normally, it recognizes whether I'm in an assembly, part, or drawing and allows me to adjust settings for each module. But on Win 11 Arm, it only shows that I'm in Inventor. Could this be the issue?
Is there a way to modify a Spacemouse configuration text file to reduce the speed for all detected programs at once?
Or maybe I should look for an answer on the Autodesk forum on how to influence Inventor's reaction to the Spacemouse and limit its sensitivity?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Ciacho00oo,
Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
I have the same problem as above and mentioned in many other 3D CAD user forums.
Windows 11 for ARM with Parallels on a Mac Book Pro with the Apple M1 Max chip.
I'm still using an older version of 3DXware to design with Altium eCAD. It works but I can't set some preferences.
It is no longer possible to install new versions and 3Dconnexion continues to declare incompatible with Windows for ARM.
I was planning to change my old wired Spacemouse to the brand new Bluetooth version, but thought better of it because 3Dconnexion doesn't plan to support ARM.

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Hi again,
I just bought the newest SpaceMouse Bluetooth Edition, but I'm having problems with the drivers on my Windows 11 ARM computer. The old driver doesn't work, and I can't install the new one.
This is really frustrating because I can't use my new SpaceMouse at all. Can you please update the drivers to work with Windows 11 ARM?
Thanks for your help. I hope to hear from you soon.

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver - TEMP resolved
Pretty frustrating that 3DConnexion doesn't care about the WindowsARM market in its entirety.....
However the temporary fix is as follows:
Download the older 10.6.4 driver from the 3DConnexion Archives.
It works ok on MacBookPro M2 with Parallels running Win11.
I'm using with SolidWorks.
This one is the 10.6.4 for win10-64bit, and found under the "Space Mouse Compact driver archives"

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
3DxWare version 10.6.4 had been released a few years ago.ngomes wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 11:40 amThe driver included in v. 10.8.15 of 3DxWare 10 (and newer) requires a system call that was introduced in Windows 10 version 2004. It looks like the check is invalid in Windows 11 for Arm or the required function is missing (unlikely).
Currently, 3Dconnexion does not officially support Windows 11 on Arm.
Which version of SolidWorks are you using on your MacBookPro M2 with Windows Parallels Desktop running Windows 11 OS ?

Re: Windows 11 ARM driver
Hi there! Can someone from the 3Dconnexion team share if you’re working on drivers for Windows 11 ARM, or are we waiting on necessary updates from Windows to make it happen?
