3dxware control panel and driver quit working

Post by tongy66086 »

I have been told there has been no changes to my machine, but my control panel and driver mysteriously quit working yesterday.
I reinstalled the software, but still not working. I am currently downloading the newest version.
Has anyone else experienced this, and what did you need to do to get things working properly again.
I have a Navigator PE and use solidworks 2009 sp 1.
Thanks so much for your help.

Unplug the device.
While unplugged hold down the 1,2 button
Continue holding down the buttons and plug in the device
Wait 15 seconds release the buttons
Now click on the open 3dcontrol panel icon on the desktop

That fixed it all!
Thank you so much for your help!
Is this just a quirk in the software, or did I inadvertantly do something to cause it? I would like to not ever have an issue again.
Thank you again for the fix.

When you shutdown the pc the Unit didnt discharge.
This caused the device to not be detected by windows.
When you held in both buttons and plugged in the device it discharged the devcie so it could be recognized.
Its kinda like a reset button.
