No power to my new SN pe

Just got my new Spacenavigator PE Yesterday. Plug it in and set up the software. Downloaded updated version from the site. Seems like no power is getting to the device. unplugged all other devices except for keyboard and cordless mouse. No blue light, nothing. Device is not found on the system. no device control panel. select shortcut, open and nothing happens. select the folder in program files, nothing happens. uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, nothing happens. no lights, no cursor. What is wrong with this thing? running on vista 32. very disappointed right away. what a shame! this is 2008, the future.

Since you already posted in a different post regarding the same issue.

hello. device worked for a bit today after multiple reboots. worked great with google earth, didn't get to use it with CAD even though the software came up in CAD. device never woke up with system out of sleep. fun while it lasted. tried several unplugs again. and nothing. this seems like it could be a great device for inventor.
already sent an email to support. haven't heard anything from them. thanks.
