Greetings all;
Can we please add a vote to get the Space Navigator to work with the ArcGIS desktop version? I know it works with ArcScene and ArcGlobe, but would like it to work in the desktop version. If there are any related forums or solutions that I have not found for ArcGIS 10.1, please advise here. Thanks.
Regards,
Rob MacKenzie.

Hello Rob,
Esri would be the best place to ask them to update there add-in to add support for ArcGis Desktop 10
http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebas ... tail/33515
Not sure if the addin they currently have will work or not.

Re: ArcGIS Desktop 10.x
A Space Navigation tool won't work in ArcGIS Desktop because it works in a 2D coordinate space (x,y), not a 3D coordinate space like ArcGlobe and ArcScene. You can have data with a Z value (like elevations) but you won't be able to display the data with a 3D perspective.
