SpacePilot Pro doesn't work in 3ds max

Hello.

My SpacePilot doesn't work in 3ds Max and Maya but it works correct in KeyShot, SketchUP.
I don't know how to solve my issue.

Did you install the driver after 3dsmax? If not do a repair installation.

Yeah. I installed updated driver after 3ds max design.
Now I tryed repair it and it doesn't give any result.

Hello vardaness -

It is important that 3DsMax is closed when you install or repair the 3DxWare driver so the 3DsMax add-in can be installed.

Windows requires the same permissions for an add-in as for the application. If 3DsMax is using elevated permissions [Run as administrator] then 3Dxware requires the same permissions for the add-in to be able to communicate with 3DsMax.

This is only needed when the application is installed using 'Run as adminstrator' permissions. If 3DsMax is using standard permissions, changing the 3DxWare permissions will not correct the problem.

If 3DsMax is using 'Run as adminstrator' permissions.close 3DsMax then right-click on the downloaded 3DxWare installer and choose 'Run as administrator'.

If you are still seeing a problem, please let us know which 3DsMax version you are using and which 3Dxware version is shown in 3Dconnexion Properties - About.

3DxWare 10 version 10.1.4
3DxWinCore version 17.1.4.10702
Devices SpacePilot PRO (firmware v. 4.11)

please go to 3damax -> Customize -> Plug-in Manager and check if you have an entry for 3DXSTD.DLU and if it is loaded.

Is the plugin in 3dsmax loaded?

If 3dsmax is the active application and you move the mouse cursor over the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray - what does the tooltip window show? Does it tell you which configuration is used? I saw in your screenshot that it seems that the driver doesn't load the profile for 3dsmax.

Please check if the buttons work in 3dsmax.

You're right! The driver is not loaded for 3ds max.
And when I am changing the window to 3ds max, the driver is still showing Chrome.

vardaness, try this since I just had the exact same problem.
No need for registry edits or anything...

In Windows Explorer, navigate to "Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxStudio64\Contents\2014\" (change x64 or version details as needed)
Copy 3dxstd.dlu to your "Program Files\Autodesk\3Ds Max 2014\stdplugs\" directory (again, change details as needed)

Navigate to "Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxStudio64\scripts\"
Copy 3DxStudio.ms to "Program Files\Autodesk\3Ds Max 2014\scripts\Startup\"

Restart Max and it should work.

I tried multiple installs, repairs, run as admin, everything. Nothing worked. For whatever reason, the files weren't getting copied over.
I've been using these controllers for years (SpacePilot Pro currently), and I was lost for a few minutes without it.

which version of 3dsmax do you have? And which version of the driver is installed?
Have you tried a "repair" installation?
