Just received my new SpaceNavigator, and just love it.
One problem, I lose trackpad mouse control when it is plugged in? I can only regain control of the trackpad after unplugging the SpaceNavigator! Very inconvenient!
Is this a known issue...is there a solution?
Thanks

Hi Graeme,
Are you plugging both devices on an external hub?
What may be happening is that is not enough power is available to operate both devices.
If possible, try connecting the devices directly to the computer.

The SpaceNavigator is connected directly to my MacBook Pro!
Thanks for any help.

Hi Graeme,
Sorry. I did not realise you were referring to the system's built-in touchpad and assumed you were referring to an external USB device.

This is resolved in Leopard. For Tiger machines, a work around is to go to System Preferences->Keyboard & Mouse->Trackpad and uncheck "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present"
