not recognizing Solidworks Sketch mode?

I recently purchased the spacemosue enterprise.
The software doesn't seem to recognize when I go into "sketch"mode in SolidWorks.
Sketch mode recognition does work in Inventor...

Is this a bug, lack of features or am I doing something wrong?
It does recognize part/assembly/drawing modes in Solidworks.

the API from SolidWorks does not provide the information that the driver would need to identify the Sketch mode. We have a feature request for this which has internally the bug tracking number #BGZ-6862.

Is it possible to manually "switch context"?
For example, assign a button on the the 3D mouse to have it switch functionality of other buttons to "sketch mode"?
