We would like to see Solibri model viewer / Solibri model checker (www.solibri.com) being able to work with our 3D mice.
Is this the job of the people from Solibri to make the 3D mouse work with their program or is it something that should be developped from 3Dconnexion?
Or is this something we, as end-users, could do fairly easy? Because I don't see a lot of people asking for Solibri - 3Dconnexion support.
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Re: Solibri Support
Hello JeroenV,
adding 3D device support to an application is determined by the application developer rather than by 3Dconnexion. We have an SDK - Software Developer Kit which any software developer can download at no cost and which allows the integration of 3D device support in proprietary software.
We advise our customers to contact the Customer Service of applications that are lacking support and request it be added in future versions of their software. The decision to include 3D support in their development schedule is often influenced by the level of customer interest.

Re: Solibri Support
Please let this happen. It would greatly raise the level of usefulness and in-program navigation.
The maneuvering in Solibri is pretty aweful, and there are no alternatives for viewing .IFC-files yet.
