I cant wrap my head around the idea that 3d connexion doesnt support Autocad for mac. It is such a foundamental CAD software and with apple's M1 chips more and more professional users migrate to Apple only to find out that their 3d mouse is not supported. It is redicullus to have to run windows through parallels on a brand new macbook pro sacrificing a good 80% of performance just to be able to use my 3dmouse.
Does anyone have any idea if 3d Connexion is planning to support Autocad for mac in the near future?
Will Autocad for Mac ever be supported by 3dConnexion?

Has Autocad for Mac announced any Apple ARM support or even a time frame ?
AFAIK
ACIS Modeling Core has still no Apple ARM support.
AFAIK
this support was announced for the beginning of 2022,
but delayed to November 2022 ....
(Therefore no timeframe for a native Bricscad on Mac)

I actually installed Autocad 2022 for mac on my Macbook pro with M1 pro processor and it runs natively (without the need of rosetta 2) like a charm.
The 3d mouse though doesnt work on it and its a big frustration when you realise that all the involved companies (apple & autodesk in this case) have done their best to deliver in a timely manner while 3dconnection refuses to follow. A chain will always only be as strong as its weakest ring.

Thank you very much.
I didn't expect a native Autocad for M1 Mac at all.
That is great !
(at least for you )

Hmmh, Autodesk says :
Recommended: Apple Mac® models supporting Metal Graphics Engine
Apple Mac models with M series chip are supported under Rosetta 2 mode.
You should be able to see that in Activity Monitor in a column on the right,
where it says either Intel (via Rosetta) or Apple (native).
At least Autodesk Mac is already :
Apple® macOS® Monterey v12 (requires Update 2022.2) ready and Metal !
(So there shouldn't be much loss because of Rosetta)
