Typo, it's C4D, not C43.

so, you mean it's better to pay for bug fixes and new features and stay with the old version just to use the 3D mouse?

In production environment, it's better to keep a stable software productivity tool stack. As you may noticed, the upgrade broke the workflow before the v10.9.1 driver update.

May I ask what kind of work are you involved in?

I work as a 3D modeller for over 30 years now, and I can definitely say that the greatest benefits to productivity were the new software features and not the 3D mouse that I have been using for about 10 years.
it helps for sure, but it doesn't solve 3D modeling problems!

Clearly you don't have the urgent need for the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse and C4D 2025 combination to get the work done, it's not you who complained about the lack of 3DxWare driver support for C4D 2025 before the v10.9.1 release, it's other people in this or other thread requesting the driver support for the C4D v2025 support.

Support for Cinema 4D was included in v. 10.9.1 of 3DxWare 10 for Windows released Sep 26.

The software can be downloaded here.

Thanks for the update! I needed to jump on 2025 asap since it has a feature that will make my life 1000x easier (particles/follow splines) so I was a bit frustrated that the 3D Mouse didn't work with that release initially. But looking at the discussion above, I think it is only fair to say that we all work/play under different conditions. For some it's crucial - for others, maybe not so much. :D

PS The "Check Update" button in the 3DConnection settings driver under Tools on MacOS has never really worked - you're always "Up to date". Nothing critical, but maybe something to put on the ToDo list?

There is a delay between the software being made available for download and the driver starting to push a notification. In other words, the release is staggered.

If you wish to confirm, you can install an older version and check if the "Check Update" button works for you.

absolutely true!
some people care about others needs, some just don't.
