NX 6
SpacePilot
Driver Release: 3.6.7
Driver Version: 6.6.1
Firmware Version: 3.12
I've noticed that while in Drafting (a 2D environment), and you "expand" a view, the SpacePilot operates in 3 dimensional mode. IE you can rotate, as well as pan. Thus, the expanded view is out of plane with the drawing, so you have to unexpand, hit the 3D lock button on the SpacePilot, and then expand the view again.
I'll get the latest driver to see if this behavior remains, but I don't recall it doing this in NX5.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi drkieffer,
Welcome back
I can not reproduce this with 3DxSoftware 3.6.10 - please let us know if the update resolved the issue.

Glad to be back!! I just wish it wasn't because I'm having an issue
I just installed 3.6.10, and the behavior remains.
I forgot to mention, this is on Vista 64, if that might make a difference.
Thanks,
Dave

Ok - I will try to reproduce this tomorrow. Please let me know if you have additional information that could help to reproduce this.

I tried it on another workstation, with a SpaceExplorer, but an older driver...3.7 I think. The result was the same.
It also does this when putting in a Broken View. Insert, View, Broken View.
Thanks,
Dave
