spacenavigator PE button configuration for solidworks 2008

Hi,

I just got my spacenavigator PE, witch i am going to use with solidworks 2008.

A problem with the button configuration brought me to this site.


When i dubble click the 3d connection icon, and select the button configuration tab, i can configure the left button and the right button

I set the left button to ( Zoom to fit )
I set the right button to ( Normal to )

Under options i have Automatically Save Configurations checked

When i create a part in SW everything works ok, but when i have saved my part, and close SW, and later re-open SW to continiu my part, the right button ( Normal to ) is not working.

When i go to the 3d connection icon, to check my settings, the right button field is blank.

So every time i restart SW i have to set it again, how come?

What am i doing wrong?

Please verify that you have full access to the following registry-key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\3Dconnexion\3Dconnexion Add-In for SolidWorks\

Are you changing the settings in the 3DxWare GUI or in the 3Dconnexion addin in SW?

Thanks for the reply's, because of pc problems I was not able to react sooner
I reinstalled XP and my space navigator 3 D mouse is working perfect now !!!
