AutoCad 2010: Selection issue

With AutoCad's 'Free Orbit' command you can select objects, use 'Free Orbit' and the program keeps your originally selected objects selected. Using the SpaceNavigator (3.8.1) software and rotating a model your object selection is lost.

Can a future software update maintain object selection when the SpaceNavigator is used in AutoCad?

I have the same problem here, it is very annoying that you loose your selection when using your 3DMouse.

Is there already a solution for this issue?
