SpacePilot

Post by salchicha »

I have an older SpacePilot, not Pro.

I am having difficulty with...
A. Zoom, Pan, & Rotating
-While zooming, all three events occur.
B. Retaining customization.
-Frequent lost customization.

SolidWorks 2016 SP 4.0
Windows 7 Enterprise
NVIDIA Quadro 4000
32 GB

I have installed latest driver.
I have followed all of the recommendations for install, uninstall, reinstall.

Yes, I had previously followed the instructions in the links that you have provided.
The problem is still as I previously described.

For calibrate where is the calibrate button? I open up the 3Dconneion home and there is no config. icon. There is a settings icon but it does not have the calib. button. Currently I have drifting issues. Older SpacePilot running on Windows 7 Pro, using Solidworks 2017 SP 5.0 with NVIDIA Quadro FX 580.

How to calibrate the 3D mouse

If your device is drifting you can easily calibrate it by right-clicking to the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray and the selecting “Calibrate”. You will be asked “not to touch the cap while LEDs are blinking”. Confirm and wait until the process is finished (just a few seconds). Another window will inform you that the calibration is finished.
