I’ve been trying to download the beta driver (3DxSoftware64SPP_v3-12-1_r983.exe) for my space pilot because the buttons quit working after I upgraded to SolidWorks 2011. I’ve tried several times and the transfer rates always degrade rapidly to the low double digits and then on to single (the current rate is 5.58KB/Sec). I’ve spoken to technical support and they have no ability to provide an alternate way to get the file. When I mentioned that on another posting there was a link to SendSpace.com where the file could be downloaded, she suggested I post a request here to have a similar link established. Would it be possible to get that done?

I’m not sure if it’s been suggested before, but having a mirror or FTP site to improve your transfer rates would be a good idea, especially if you are going to be wielding around 100Mb files. It seems that I’ve always run into slow transfers from your site so I’m thinking this time is not an isolated incident.

OK… trying again… I’m at 646bytes/Sec… so in 29 hours and 10 minutes I can use my mouse again… I can’t wait.

I know the feeling, been there, suffered that. The SendSpace link worked OK. I had to purchase a 1 month subscription to have the resume facility and within a short time (relative) got the driver. Now trying to solve installation problem.
