Space Pilot Pro doesn't work with Maya 2011

I've had the Space Pilot Pro nearly a week and it seems apart from Google Earth I am having no success getting it working with anything.

I am using the latest drivers and have Maya 2011 installed on Windows 7 x64. The Space Pilot doesn't show Maya in the list of apps when it is running and using the controller does nothing in Maya.

I've tried starting the driver as Administrator but that makes no difference.

Am I missing some step to get this working?

Hi steddyman,

did you install Maya after the driver for the 3D mouse? If yes, please use the update wizard (right click on the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray) and have the driver update to the new situation on your machine.

If it still fails please check the readme (Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> Documentation -> Readme -> Maya Readme) for trouble shooting.

Please let us know if you could solve the problem or if you still need assistance.
