This 2 processes eating up 700MB is this normal ? anyway that is quite a lot of memory for a driver sotware.
BTW I'm using two device CAD mouse + SpaceMouse not sure if it need 2 instance because of using 2 devices?

Have you tried a clean re-installation of the latest driver without any configuration files from previous version?
Yes I was when updating to the lasted version, but I've re-import the configuration file(old the older version) afterward and the problem still presist as you see.
If I don't import the configuration file I don't think it will help either because my hardware is brand new and the driver was just install to pc should not have much junk?

I suspect there could be a problem importing your files.
It doesn't handle files that are too old very well.
Can you PM them to me?
Are they from before or after they where imported? They don't seem to change at all when they are imported, as if there are no changes required.
I don't see anything obviously wrong with them. They look quite recent.
I also don't see the heavy memory usage. But I'm not running the applications.
Does the problem occur after running some applications for a while?
Do you recall which applications you ran when you saw the problem?
It is normal to have two executable instances running.
I always keep it up to date to my current config so I think I don't have the very old file before the previous installation.
But as you say all looks normal including it start to use too much of memory. I'm end up re-installed the driver again and re-import the most recent config, the problem seem to fixed for now, will update to you if it still presist.
At the end it still comeback.
Until recently I found the root cause of this problem that it's from chrome bookmark link extensiona(not sure what it's call) clean install driver without that the problem is completely fix now, so dev should take a look onto that.
It seems like I'm experiencing the same issue but it doesn't look like it's related to idling or using specific applications since the two aforementioned processed are eating over a 1Gb of memory straight after booting up the system (cold boot).
Could you look into the %localappdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\Ext folder?
Are there a large number of files in there? If so, would you delete them, logout and login again and see if the memory used by 3dxProfileserver is reduced a lot?
