Unreal Engine 5.3.2

Post by Vaguely1320 »

I thought that minor upgrades of UE would not break compatibility with 3D Connexion, but it seems it has.

An upgrade from 5.3 to 5.3.2 has caused my Spacemouse Pro stop working, unless there is something specific I should do to enable full support again?

Hi Vaguely1320 thank you for your post.
This upgrade shouldn't break the Spacemouse Pro.
Please check the plugins tab in Unreal if you see there 3DxUnreal plugin from 3Dconnexion.
Which version of the driver do you use?

I'm experience zero usability in Unreal 5.3.2. Says the plugin is installed but 3Dconnexion screen does not show UNREAL Engine and instead reads mstsc...?

Hello shodgs13,

Which driver version do you currently have installed on your machine?

if its 10.8.16 or newer, then you need to copy and paste the plugin from our driver into the appropriate folder in Unreal

Here is a link in our FAQ to show how: https://3dconnexion.com/us/support/faq/ ... t-loading/

I also noticed the the 3dconnexion plugin is the CORRECT plugin for 5.3 that's already installed. But looking at your screenshot you have 1.2.0 NOT 1.1.9

Hello shodgs13,

Did you copy and paste the plugin from the 5.3 unreal plugins folder in the driver?
you may have to create the Marketplace folder and the 3Dconnexion Folder inside of it as well.

I would suggest to contact our Tech Support and create a case. It's very possible a more in depth solution is necessary.
