Anyone know when an updated SpaceMouse will be released?
It seems like we are due. I have 3 SpacePilot pros (home, office, alternate office), I skipped the SpaceMouse enterprise because my coworker has one and I don't like it as much. The buttons are nowhere near as easy to use. I like the five function buttons (10 with long press) as they don't require me to look down to see what I am pressing. The location is more ergonomic. I am going to be forced to update to Windows 11 before too long, and I am worried about driver support for my SpacePilots.

Throw the question to 3Dconnexion company, call their support phone number.

I sent them a message through Facebook. They told me that they cannot confirm anything new, and to just buy the current one if I want it to work.

Well, in your case, how about go with the new SpaceMouse Pro Wireless Bluetooth Edition? Mine is the previous SpaceMouse Pro Wireless, it's good enough for me.MEngineer24501 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 10:43 am I sent them a message through Facebook. Re: Product Update
I can't have anything wireless for one of my workstations. But primarily I use more buttons than it has. I wouldn't use the 3 and 4 button. I haven't used any of the buttons to the right of the joystick on any of the 3D mouse versions I've used. An exception is the fit button on the spacepilot pro. It is easy to get to with your thumb. I use that for the "look at" function in Inventor.
I went ahead and ordered 2 SpaceMouse Enterprises, a wired cad mouse, and another mouse pad earlier this week. Which means that 3DConnexions will release a new flagship model by the end of the year.

Open it and subscribe to applications filed by 3Dconnexion to FCC, then you'll know if there's any new product launch in future.
