Stopped working in Solidworks

Post by Firecrackerktm »

Hello all,
Yesterday afternoon, my SpaceMouse Wireless stopped working in Solidworks (2024). Clicking either of the side buttons does display the radial menus I have chosen, but does not actually activate the chosen function. Zoom, pan, rotate, etc. are all unavailable. The blue status LED does not illuminate.

I just updated the drivers and restarted, and it is fully charged. I moved the dongle to a different USB port.

Any help is appreciated! I feel so clumsy in Solidworks without it!

Hi Firecracerktm

1. Which version of the 3DxWare do you use?
2. Please check if 3Dconnexion plugin is enabled in SolidWorks. You can go Tools -> Add-in in SW

THERE IT IS! thank you so much.

We just upgraded SW and the add-in wasn't enabled. I can't believe I missed that.

Life is good again.
