Awful Mac Performance...

Post by GeicoGecko »

I searched and looked for a sticky. I really really hope I didn't miss anything obvious.

I received my SpaceMouse Enterprise a couple of days ago. Immediately set it up with my M1 MBP. Tutorial was great but I found it to be really sensitive. I know there's a learning curve but this was something else!

Opened up Fusion to edit some models and really struggled. Can't get a single axis to act independently. Struggle through for a few days thinking I'm just old and it's a learning curve.

Tonight I gave up and fired up a Windows machine to test it out on Fusion... night and day different! So intuitive! Problem is the Windows machine blows at running fusion (it's a month old, with a 4070 GPU and the 4 year old MBP M1 still out performs it).

Please don't make me use Windows. What have I missed.... Thanks!

What you missed is the easy to use Windows environment and easy to use VisualStudio and other Windows device driver development kit to support the easy use of Windows system.

Go to 3Dconnexion Home → Advanced Settings and click Reset to Default. After installing SpaveMouse, create a Fundiom profile. Adjust the sensitivity for each axis (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) separately to better match the control feel on Windows.
