I don't know if this will help but in trying to figure out how to get rid of the green box without rebooting I noticed that if I open the Task Manager there are 3 task running. 3DxNIService, 3Dxradialmenus and 3Dxservice but after open the properties for SpaceNavigator and I get the green box there ...

Whenever I open the SpaceNavigator Properties a second empty box opens with it. It's just a green border that sits on the screen with nothing in it and no way to close it.
