Thanks for the reply. Do I need to download new software as I do not know where to find 3DxSmartUI GUI? What I am aware of is in my screenshot. If I do what you suggest, will I need to switch that off and on as I need it on to work in solidworks? I jump between the two softwares very often and this ...

I only use draftsight for some 2D work, so I'd like to disable 3d spinning of my 2D files or just disabling the mouse completely just for this application would suffice. How can I do this?
