The fix was convincing IT to find each individual MDM profile that said "User Approvals Allowed: No" and changing it to "Yes."

Do you have a corporate computer? Is it running device profiles? Do you have CoreTex or GlobalProtect or some other profile that blocks system extensions? It's an IT issue for me.

Update: After nearly six months of trying, CoreTex XDR and/or GlobalProtect system policies are STILL blocking the SpaceMouse from installing, and my IT department is either unwilling, or incapable of adjusting their red tape nightmare, so I guess I have three useless SpaceMice that will gather dust...

I had an older Intel machine that had no issues with the SpaceMouse, but the company just updated me to an M4 Max with an updated profile set that uses PaloAlto's Coretex security and one (some?) of the profiles are blocking the installation of the extension that resides in library/system extensions...
