Re: Any alternative for the main 3DConnexion 3DMouse software and driver?
ControlMyJoystick is very interesting. Any other alternatives, maybe allowing different or better setup of other aspects of Spacemouse behavior? Like ability to switch Centre of Rotation on the fly, maybe by voice command?

Re: How to keep my Camera perfectly level
I tell a lie - in Bricscad I can get horizontal camera - maybe you can, similarly, in your application? My Space Mouse Compact can have one of its two buttons programmed to 'Bricscad menu', which is like a typical right-click menu and includes 'Lock horizon'.

Application-specific customisation - which co's Devs do it?
I want to understand which set of developers customises the user experience with Space Mouse in any given application - is it the 3dconnexion developers or is it the application's developers? I use Space Mouse in Bricscad and in Twinmotion. When the same 3D dwg-format model in Bricscad and is import...

Re: How to keep my Camera perfectly level
Isn't this one of the facilities that's dependent on the application - some do some don't. In Bricscad I can't get level camera; in Twinmotion I can't switch it off.

Re: SpacePilot with W10
I understand - exactly - legalistic caution prevails on the official website, which therefore gives us no clue to this lifesaving possibility - unless we think to ask on the official forum. There, UtaSH, who seems to be a 3dConnexion representative, kindly and helpfully provides excellent informatio...

Re: SpacePilot with W10
No, the point is, on the Legacy drivers page, if I input Spacepilot (original type) and W10-64, it says "Sorry there is no driver available for your selection!" whereas you've shown, in this forum, that 10.4.10 does work (smoother and sweeter than my SpacePilot has ever been), contrary to ...

Re: SpacePilot with W10
After great assistance from Tech Support, first to get driver 3.16.3 to uninstall, I can say that my old Spacepilot immediately works perfectly, no messing required, with 10.4.10 in W10. This is after the website says 'not supported in W10', but try an old driver (not specified). I tried 3.16.3, whi...

Re: SpacePilot with W10
Thnks - I saw same in https://www.3dconnexion.com/forum/viewt ... 25&t=35491, downloaded, but it required me to uninstall the present drver, which it has refused to do - dialog pic attached. Any idea why?

serial no 7000* vs 6000*
Thinking to buy a secondhandf SpaceNavigator.
Any idea what difference is between serial no 3DX-700028 or 29, and 3DX-600028 or 29? US/UK ones seem to be 7000*, German ones 6000*.

SpacePilot with W10
Any ideas how to use my first-type SpacePilot (not Pro) with W10? For Autocad. It's in vgc but not officially supported by current drivers, only by drivers up to W7 or W8.

SpacePilot with Bentley AECOsim
Being v inexpert 'under the hood' I don't know what I'm doing here on developer's forum, but would appreciate comment: Was disappointed that my SpacePilot (not Pro) wouldn't work with Bentley Microstation. Turned out that was because I actually had Bentley AECOsim, which includes Microstation and a ...

Re: Microstation - CPU, GPU or DirectX?
Thanks for answering. I v much like the way that these computations aren't disabled during 3D mouse rotation - it's great to be able to converge (using right hand 2D mouse) the second point of a half-placed element with its target, as it rotates (using left hand SpacePilot) into view - and it's nice...

Microstation - CPU, GPU or DirectX?
Now that I have made a small 3D model, of 837K, in Microstation (attached),navigation using SpacePilot (not Pro) is sometimes painfully slow - frame by frame. It improved with latest Nvidia driver 307.32 for my Quadro FX580 but still must do better. The CPU is i3-2120 @3.30GHz. With SpacePilot conne...
