Hey all,
I'm dusting off my SpaceNavigator 3d Mouse which I bought a few years ago and haven't used it in a while. Want to use it to navigate through architectural models in Rhino and as I move through "hallways" I have positioned my camera 54" above the floor and I want to keep it perfectly level. I've tried all 4 Navigation Modes: Object, Fly, Target Camera and Drone Modes but none of them seem to keep the camera level. As a result, if I want to move forward in a really long hallway and I start with the Camera perfectly level at 54" above the floor the camera doesn't seem to stay perfectly level and eventually points down slightly and ends up "crashing" in to the floor.
Any suggestions? Are there any tricks to this?
What is the difference between the 4 Navigation Modes? Where can I find a good explanation for this?

Isn't this one of the facilities that's dependent on the application - some do some don't. In Bricscad I can't get level camera; in Twinmotion I can't switch it off.

I tell a lie - in Bricscad I can get horizontal camera - maybe you can, similarly, in your application? My Space Mouse Compact can have one of its two buttons programmed to 'Bricscad menu', which is like a typical right-click menu and includes 'Lock horizon'.
