I have tried to show all of the commands I want to use, such as showing the sketch toolbar with the commands I want to use, this has had no positive effect, still no reaction from the space pilot. I have tried to use an older software driver, then use the new SolidWorks addin from the latest driver ...

Another thing I don't understand is the discrepancy between the driver update I got from 3D Connection (3.6.11) and the driver version my driver details lists (5.1.2600.5512). I've done a complete uninstall / reinstall including removing the registry files.

I have a user that has lost the use of his buttons on the spaceball, the knob works as expected but even when he re assigns button tools there is no reaction. We uninstalled and re-installed the software, things were working fine but just stopped according to him...

This is pretty much what I determined. I am going to be mainly using SW08 in a few weeks, so I may just use it as is until then. I had already created a new menu for views that don't work as as workaround. thanks for the suggestioBrian
