what are you talking about man. leave the devs alone. you should go and buy some programming books, read them in your spare time, buy an extra computer you can mess up practicing, try to hack your programs into working the way you want them to. OH YEAH if after all that you have something that resem...

LOL at the turn-out of this thread. - Can we have setpoint? - tell me why you want setpoint. - Cause it helps me be more productive. - It wont make your program 6DOF. - I know it wont. - Here is a link, go play "hacker" on your work computer. Awesome. From what I have seen the whole purpos...

even so, at the end of the thread you linked, the person is still having problems. it worked but he still has an issue. SetPoint would be win.

I would seriously pay for this. I don't know how many other people would, but $5.99 x 5470 members of this forum = $32,765.00

You are correct. I do not expect my Word documents to start spinning on my screen. I do look forward to using all the buttons on the SpacePilot as much as possible since my hand is on it all day.

I took a screenshot of it and circled in red the two things that make Setpoint so great. I can pick my programs from a drop down list and then assign different functions to each button separately for each program. So if I am in Word, scroll wheel means go up and down but as soon as I alt-tab over to...

Logitech SetPoint for 3DConnexion?

SetPoint is the best thing ever invented. I have the G5 corded laser precision mouse and I have mapped the buttons to do different things in each program I use here at work. Is there a program like this for the SpacePilot? If not, why?!?!?! I would pay up to $5.99 for a program like this. It would m...

I had that same problem this morning. I tried every USB receptacle on the computer and i restarted and nothing... i unplugged it and called it my SW VAR. They told me they'll get back to me. So i just put it on the side disconnected and after 10 minutes I replugged it and it all worked no problems. ...

I had that problem. You have to do the following:

1. Install the current 3DxWare but NO SOLIDWORKS ADD-IN

2. Install the 4000FLX SolidWorks Add-In ONLY, NOT THE 3DXWARE

Took me and the IT guy at my last job a whole day to figure out. I am now using the SpacePilot, the 4000FLX is now a relic.
