Reply not possible

I tried to reply to the post: "Z-Axis Does not function properly on a new SpaceNavigator" but hitting the reply button just gets me up a level, not that my post was going to be so meaningful but it's a bit lame for the guy if nobody can respond, after he was already let down by support. I ...

I'm trying to be pleasant and let things slip, but you are pushing it, please limit your fibs to the somewhat plausible, TIA.

I'm guessing you aren't a lawyer then :) Incidentally, when I commented I commented from the view of US law since you are obviously in the US, I would never project local law on other countries, and as for the EU, the EU has on...

I'm not even sure that's legal to be honest, there are privacy laws and you could park the car somewhere and stalk people for instance, and although that's not your intent the next person might have a different mindset.

Just a quick note that I changed some stuff on my system and now spaceball.z seems to function normally, hope it lasts.
Anyway, perhaps I was wrong blaming GlovePIE for the issue.

Isn't the picture viewer just the MS default WinXP viewer with a movement-by-spacenavigator plugin? So perhaps it's MS that should get these request, and frankly I don't use the MS viewer (or 3Dconnexion one) but prefer irfanview because it has tons more functionality and since a picture is 2D you c...

Yeah it's annoying as hell when things aren't available in 64bit, 64bit just is where things are at with all the RAM we can now afford.

Perhaps you should not turn doen the sensitivity so much, if there's a larger range there's more precision isn't there? Basically the sensitivity is controlled by your code in GlovePIE and not by the GUI if you don't use it in applications that 3dconnexion handles, turning it down in the 3dconnexion...

Dwabble, I have no Idea what are you trying to say here? Spying on whom? What company? "I have 24x7 video feed on the car (internally stored on the DVR in the trunk + remotly uploded to the server) true 360 degree viweing area, cameras are on even when engine is off (unlike infinity and any ot...

I can't say, I haven't tried it in vista/vista64, I seldomly start up that partition. It does seem odd though because the spacenavigator doesn't ID itself as joystick AFAIK, it only does with the RBC9 driver, but I was given to understand that was not 64bit compatible. Of course if it does that's no...

Here's my testscript for reference: // GlovePIE 0.3 script // test of assigning spaceball (spacenavigator) to PPjoy // value of -200 to 200 (when speedmark 6 and asvanced slider centered) // from spacenavigator input becomes -1.0 to 1.0 for PPjoy // if the speed or advanced sliders are changed the v...

ha, I like how someone so overly fascinated with spying on things is called so similar to the 'alexa' company, very appropriate.

It's a bit too early to answer for me, when I imagine it in gaming I think it might be fun for controlling the choppers in battelfield2 maybe, but I'm not sure I'd like it for FPS control for instance, I guess I should try it at some point. It might also be handy in strategy games like supreme-comma...

I still would much prefer a RBC9-style driver or autohotkey, but I gave GlovePIE a quick test on my 64bit system but if I'm in need for non-supported functionality on 64bit I think I'll prefer to try something else.
