Is there anything else that can be done? The suggestions so far haven't cleared the problem.

Hi Uta, I tried first disabling the Auto option in the Rotation Center menu. This now enables me to import DWG without Max crashing. However, if I then press the right-hand shortcut button on the 3Dx device, Max still crashes out. The same behavior also happens when I change the Auto option to Hide ...

Hi Fred, Thanks for the reply. I followed the instructions to the letter. Unfortunately, I still have the same issue as described above. Again, if I remove the 3Dx plugin from the 3DS Max 2008 plugins folder, all is well. Do you have any further ideas? I'm guessing it should be trying an older drive...
