didn't work to identify the com port i opened up hyperterm and selected com2 (the device beeped upon clicking ok) then clicked buttons on the space ball. Characters appeared on the screen. then i edited the shortcut and tried to start the driver and nothing happened. I have power cycled the machine ...

Hey guys i had a problem with the USB spaceball a couple days ago where i had installed the software, but the driver wouldn't start and the space ball wouldn't come on.
