alias studio tools camera control

Post by deadalvs »

hello 3dConnexion.

i am super happy with my spacePilot ! a great piece of hardware.

(( please fully support osX and zBrush ))

* * *

i just started to learn alias studio tools (autostudio). so i installed the latest version of the drivers.

the problem i have with the spacePilot is that even with deactivated roll option, the camera rolls when the cam is looking down on an object and the user pans the view. this does not happen with the normal keyboard commands.
how can i solve this issue ? this really is very unusual to work like !

is there someone having the same problem ? or is there any person here that could help me to solve this problem ?

thanks in advance !

maybe axle swap?

Have the same problem, navigation in alias is wierd! When you roll it rotates and when you rotates it rolls the camera!!! Guys please fix this bug, there is no way to swap those two rotation axles in tool you provided so we really need you to help.

Thanx

Experience a Different Zoom Mode

Post by Bryan »

Dear deadalvs and vlkinek,

In the 3Dconnexion Control Panel, under the Device Configuration Tab, you may choose between two different zoom modes. Perhaps in trying a different zoom mode, you may find settings that give you responses more inline with your preferences.

Sincerely,
Bryan
