Hi graphinc. Sorry for the late reply.
3Dconnexion devices are natively supported in Modo. In other words, the editor of Modo has developed the interface in the application.
You will need to contact Luxology's customer service and request the necessary information.
We would appreciate if you could post the information on this thread.

Hello graphinc:

We apologize for the misinformation on our website. Modo has not yet implemented the support for our devices. We are taking the listing off of our site for now.

Again, we apologize for the misinformation and will provide any and all updates of changes to this status.

Hi,
I recently received a Space Naigator as a gift for the Holidays. On the website, 3dConnexion currently lists Luxology Modo as a supported application. I am very interested in using Modo with the Space Navigator, but am disappointed after reading this thread, that 3dConnexion does not suport Modo after all. I believe the 3dConnexion site to be mis-leading, and wish to notify you of this. I am forwarding the link below.

Please act on behalf of Modo users, and petition Luxology to implement support of 3dConnexion devices. That would be the least you could do to make up for the misinformation posted. Please inform us as soon as you can about your findings.

It's a shame!!!!!

This is really a shame,
People are asking, yes begging for support since more than 5 YEARS!!!
This is unbelievable. How can a Company treat their well paying customers like this??? 3DS posts wrong information about support..

And the Bullshit this Moderator Nuno Gomes is writing..:
.
"3Dconnexion devices are natively supported in Modo. In other words, the editor of Modo has developed the interface in the application.
You will need to contact Luxology's customer service and request the necessary information.
We would appreciate if you could post the information on this thread."

This is your Job!!! The Posting is more than 5 years old, and nothing has happened.. Why didn't e.g. Nuno Gomes then got in contact with Luxology getting the information and post it there..
Looks to me as if just lazy people work here, trying to keep people calm.
For me, as a relatively new User to SpaceExplorer on Mac/OS X, is now clear. Iam gonna sell it as soon as possible. I wrote severel email to support, never got an answer..
I have never seen a company with a worse Support!!!
You give Support for Programs like "Word, Excel, Webbrwosers,etc.. which is Nonsens..""What the Fuc do you need a 3d Mouse surfing the internet..???
I don't know 1 user who would spend 400 Euro for a Mouse to surf the internet..! People who spend so much money, usually wanna work and speedup their workflow with it. But "work" seems a word, 3dConnexion doesn't know, it exists!!!!

Hello cod -

Actually there have been some changes in recent years.

You can take a look at the beta driver - 3DxWare 10 Beta 11. This driver is referred to as '3D Mouse Anywhere' because it allows the 3Dconnexion devices to be used in applications that do not have the ability to recognize a 3D device.

Application editors are able to add the ability to recognize a 3D device to their software. For applications that do not have that ability, the beta software allows the 3Dconnexion devices to emulate either a standard mouse, a joystick or a keyboard.

In order to make use of our released software, an application needs to be able to recognize a 3Ddevice. These are the applications you will see listed under 'Supported Applications'. For more information about the beta software you can go to our beta forum.
