Copy settings

Hi,

I am an engineer and work with Autodesk products, primarily Inventor and was wondering if there is a way copy settings one document type over to the other document types.

Why I ask is, as it stands, I like to have my button layouts or settings the same for all Inventor document (actually, most buttons I have the same system wide) types apart from a few specific to certain document types, but I if I ever make a change I have to go in and edit the button configuration for each document type or program manually.
It's kind of a pain in the rear to have to go in manually and do this.

Surely there must be a way to copy settings for one program over to another?

Run 3Dconnexion Settings in the 3Dconnexion application folder from start menu, click 'More >' and click 'Export Settings'.

Be sure to tick 'Export Button Configuration ...'.
