Space Pilot in Inventor 2008 - Button Mapping Editor problem

Hi,
In Inventor I have a very annoying issue - I'm setting button configuration as default and trying to work on it. The problem is that if I hit any of the buttons on my space pilot, the Button Mapping Editor window always appears. I can not get rid of it. I have ticked the automatic save of button configuration - did't help at all.
Please advise

Dear goralskass,

What version of 3DxSoftware are you using? (3Dconnexion Control Panel, Help, About)

I'm not sure if I am following you correctly. Are you saying, you have reset the button mapping configurations to their default settings? What configuration title do you see listed at the top of the SpacePilot's LED Screen? What commands do you read that the individual buttons are mapped to?

Hi Bryan,
Version of soft: 3.3.6 (driver 6.3.3, Firmware 3.12)
I'm in assembly mode (on the LED screen - Inventor Assembly 1). I'm hitting 'Fit' button (in default it's function is 'zoom all') and what I see is that first: 'Place component' ( mapped to button 1) window appears and after it 'Button Mapping Editor' window appears. The same is with each button (the first window which appear is different betwen the buttons, but after it the Button Mapping Editor always appears.

We have newer drivers available. 3DxSoftware 3.6.6 is available for free from the Download Page under the Support Menu. You just may need to upgrade your driver.
