Inventor 2009 on XPx64

Hi to all,
I got two buttons Space Navigator.
I work w/ Inventor 2009 & Catia5/17.
Computer - Dell XPx64 - 4GB
After I program buttons in 3D Connexionion Contol Panel"
& save as "Inventor-ursus" it works ONLY in this sesion.
After opening Inventor second time - all goes to defoult state.
Please Help

After you created the macro,
open up the Inventor plugin button mapping editor.
select 3dxware locate Inventor-ursus and drag it to a button.

unfortunatly in button conf Panel
configuration pull dwn is gray - unactive.
I can not pick any saved configuration.
Clicking on Icon - open a window open randomly
Configuration button Panel or 3DConnexion Configuration Panel.

Close out of Inventor,
Go to control panel and choose
Add remove programs.
Select 3dconnexion
choose change
select modify or repair.

Now see if the plugin is greyed out.

just did it - "repair" reinstalled software
Attached you'll see greyed pull dwn.
Did I missed something

Sounds like a permission issue not letting the plugin install correctly or being blocked from running.
Go back and rerun a repair this time uncheck the Inventor plugin.
You Navigator will still get detected by Inventor.
You'll have to use the 3dcontol panel to map the buttons.

Hi Uziemblo,

You may have an old Inventor configuration for your 3D mouse driver.

Try this: start Inventor, open the driver Control Panel and select the configuration "Inventor". Return to Inventor and check if the macros show up in the button mapping editor.
