Coade Cadworx support??

I use AutoCad 2006 with Coade's Cadworx Plant overlaid. My space navigator works great in regular AutoCad, but once I start Cadworx my device no longer works. I was wondering if anyone out there has created a plugin for Cadworx. I really enjoy being able to use this and would love to be able to use it when I am designing in Cadworx. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Please contact Coade and ask for support for our 3D navigation devices in Cadworx. We would like to have many more applications supported. Any software manufacturer can implement support for our devices, as our SDK is freely available for download.

Afterwards post your experience with Coade here.

I contacted Coade and they said it sounds like a problem with my profile for CADWorx. I asked for a suggestion on what I should do to fix that and they have yet to reply. We will see what they say. If you or anyone else has advice on how to adjust the profile to allow for the 3dconnexion plug-in to work, let me know. Any and all suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

I got it to work finally. I have been using it for a while now and have not had the time to tell anyone how. It turns out that with Cadworx running you have to manually load the *.arx file. I found that you can add this file to the list of startups like a lisp file. Just use appload and the dialog box comes up to select the file. Make sure you path it correctly. I have not yet figured out how to keep the toolbar loaded. Cadworx seems to throw it out right after I load it. When I figure out what to do I will post. Happy designing everyone!

Open up Cadworx

Got to:
TOOLS
>LOAD APPLICATION
>>PROGRAM FILES (c:)
>>>3DCONNEXION
>>>>3DCONNEXION 3DxSOFTWARE
>>>>>3Dx AUTOCAD 2007

Click on 3dxautocad
THEN click on LOAD.

This should load the .arx file needed.

Now if anyone can figure out how to get the rotation to work in CADWorx, let me know...please.

You can get the rotation to work IF you put the shading on. It will not work for me when I am in wireline mode.
