.3ds vs. .3dxz Format

Post by Zack981 »

Hello, I have just switched from Mac to PC. I have my SpaceMouse Pro configuration on my Mac exported as a .3ds file. If I try to import a configuration on Windows it only looks for a .3dxz file. What's the difference?

Open the *.3dxz file with archive software like 7-zip/WinZip/WinRAR, and extract them to
C:\Users\YOUR_current_account_name\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg

E.g.
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg
By the way, the exported 3DxWare settings file from macOS version may not be compatible for the Windows version of 3DxWare.
