Application Roll in issue!!!

Post by dustine79 »

Hi,
I am experiencing a restriction to a rotation axis.

I am using Google Earth and 3DMax on a Windows machine.

When I want to "Roll" (the most bottom axis entry in the control panel)
in either application it simply rotates around the Z axis and doesn't
roll. Basically the two last entrys Drehen & Rollen perform the same action.. they turn.
I have also experienced this on my Laptop (XPSP2 3DMAX...).

But when I use the Cube-Demo, everything works fine.
All six axis then work fine

I am using the most current driver, I have checked every possible
setting in the control panel (tried every setting seperatly and in conjunction with one another.... took me hours!). My cpu is below 50% when using the 3dNav.

Could you please help me?
5 axis is already incredible..but 6 would be the so called icing on the cake.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I have the same issue, works fine on all 6 axis while using the trainer but only five axis in Fusion 360.

It was fine last week until I updated the driver, (no reason for driver update by the way), now I have to use the Navigation cube for axis 6..

ASUS ROG 17" laptop 2018, Wireless Space Mouse + Cad Mouse Compact Wireless, (purchased a s a set) 2020, Windows 10.

(Side issue, the Space Mouse sometimes sticks and won't scroll or move and the buttons stop. The fix for this is a tap on the 3D Connection Mouse Mat).

Thanks?

It sounds like either rotation lock might be on, or lock horizon.

Lock Horizon should be be in the Navigation Modes tab. Check and make sure it is not checked.
