So now after uninstalling 10.8.2, can you now install 10.8.2 and later overinstalll to 10.8.3?
I have install 10.8.2 before, but can't overinstall to 10.8.3, and uninstall 10.8.2 still cant install 10.8.3. Now I have no 10.8.2 software, and cant download 10.8.2 form internet.

I have this issue - can't install 10.8.3 as an update or after uninstalling and re-installing 10.8.2, I am on MacOS 14.3.1 and M1 Max.

10.8.2 won't connect to my Spacemouse wireless after the initial setup.

Same thing here, I tried
- an installation/desinstal :NO
- installation on another account : NO

I also have logitech drivers on this machine.
G HUB (for the mouse)
and
LOGI option + for the keyboard.

A decade ago, the use of logitech and 3dco drivers on the same machine blocked one or the other.
You had to install them in the "right order".
Is this old bug back?

PS :Also wacom cintiq drivers, but apart from the fact that they monitor all keyboard/screen inputs, the wacom ones didn't block 3dCOnnex

I am having the same problem. Why are there always so many issues with the Mac version of the software? Does 3DC have any sort of quality control at all? Now the super expensive Wireless Spacemouse Pro is basically a paperweight - it cannot control Fusion360 at all. Disgusted.

I am using Mac Book Pro Monterey, Ver. 12.7.5

The installer is hung up the same as with everyone else. I have noticed some of these posts are a few months old. Did any come up with a solution?

I can't even Restart the laptop in Recovery mode. It won't let me do anything. What is painful about this is that I have contacted 3Dconnxion and no one is getting with me or returning phone calls.

After contacting support I managed to install the latest version (10.8.4). Cheers to them for helping out with this!

These are the steps, but please do it only if you understand the implications. You will temporarily lower the security of your system..

This is a copy/paste from the support ticket:
  • Reboot the machine
  • Launch the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
  • Execute the commands:
    systemextensionsctl list
(this will give a list of installed/running extensions; the status of our extension likely is: [activated enabled])
    systemextensionsctl reset
(note: this will also remove ANY other existing extension; likely only advisable in case our extension is the only one)
    or:
    systemextensionsctl uninstall 9D93Y2RD6L com.3dconnexion.dext
(note: this will only remove our 3dconnexion DEXT. A reboot will be required to finally get rid of the extension)
The status of the DEXT can be checked again with:
    systemextensionsctl list
  • Install 3DxWare 10.8.4 and follow the prompts
  • IMPORTANT: Re-enable SIP! (see step 1 and 2)
The status can be checked in the Terminal again: csrutil status. It should print “enabled”.
