I've just re-installed the latest spacemouse software and made sure the unreal engine plugin was checked, however when I start the unreal engine I can't use my space mouse and I can't find the 3Dconnexion plugin anywhere.
Where does the software put the unreal plugin, and how can I make sure it's installed correctly?
I'm using UE 5.3.2
Unreal plugin missing?

Re: Unreal plugin missing?
I fixed it!
No idea why this page didn't come up when I kept searching for it, but here's the solution:
Copy the "TDxUnrealEditor" folder of the correct version from:
"C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxUnreal\Plugins\x.x" (x.x = engine version)
to:
"C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_5.3\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace" (or wherever you've installed the engine. I had to create the marketplace folder myself)
then start the engine and make sure the plugin is enable (edit > plugins) it's called 3DxUnreal

Re: Unreal plugin missing?
As of Unreal Editor version 5.4, the 3Dconnexion Plugin is no longer distributed through the 3DxWare 10 but directly through the Epic Games Marketplace, https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplac ... bevelish10
Re: Unreal plugin missing?
There's still an Unreal install option in 3Dware and despite using the Unreal marketplace to install the plugin, seeing it in the plugin list, and being able to actually use the spacemouse to fly around, I still can't see the settings to tweak the plugin in the Editor Preferences or Project Settings Plugins sections.
By default the plugin has all the axes enabled making it pretty useless so when the plugin stopped showing up all the settings apparently went with it.
(again, it still shows up in the plugins list.)
This started happening just recently and I updated to the latest Unreal version some time ago.
I've tried updating 3Dware and Uninstalling the plugin with Unreal Marketplace and reinstalling it
