Running Catia v5 on a desktop PC (Win 10). I am remoting in to this PC with a laptop using HP ZCentral Remote Boost Receiver Version: 20.4.1.8921. I have a Spacemouse Pro on the desktop and a Space Navigator on the laptop. Running 3DxWare 10.8.14.3575 at both ends.
All hardware and software is controlled by my employer and I cannot change them.
With this setup I would log onto the laptop, access the company network, launch ZCentral Remote Boost and access the remote PC, start Catia, then unplug and replug the Space Navigator and all was good. Been working that way for months without issue. Then the laptop was upgraded to Win 11. Now the Space Navigator works fine on the laptop, but the remote PC can no longer see it. My IT people and even the same person who set this up for me can't get it to work. This is killing me because I have been a Spaceball/3DConnexion user since the mid 90's. Not having that control is awful
I have read that Win 11 handles remote USB through Remote Desktop Connection differently than Win 10 (of course) and maybe some settings in Win 11 need to be changed. Anyone heard of this? Anyone seen or heard of a situation like this before?
