3DConnecxion Space Mouse Pro not Working with SolidWorks 2024

Post by CAMSCO83 »

Hello, I have a windows 10 systems and I'm using SolidWorks 2024. I have the 3DConnexion Space Mouse Pro. When I had SolidWorks 2023, everything worked fine. However, I recently upgraded to SolidWorks 2024 and now the Space Mouse no long works. I updated the driver and I went into SolidWorks settings to activate the 3DConnexion compatibility, but it's still not working. The Mouse has power, the lights are on and it does seem to allow "zoom in and out" or "scroll up and down" on normal web browsing. But inside the model space, it does not interact with the model. So it appears to be an issue between the 3DConnexion and SolidWorks.

Any ideas on what else I can do?

Have you tried reinstalling the 3DxWare driver after the SOLIDWORKS software version upgrade?

Same, SOLIDWORKS 2024 SP5.0 & 2025 PR1 are both lacking communication with 3Dxware api commands. Surprisingly, slow response by such an established company.
