Spacepilot Pro - Windows 11: LCD Display Problem

Post by Logofix »

*English Version below.*

Guten Tag zusammen,

Dominik

Windows 11
SpacePilot Pro (Firmware: 4.11)
3DxWare: 10.8.12.3545
3DxWinCore: 17.8.12.19992
LCD Manager 3.06.109 08/03/2010

English Version:
Hello together,

I have a problem with my "Spacepilot Pro" under Windows 11. After starting the mouse, the LCD display only shows a picture of the mouse with the text SpacePilot Pro (same picture as when initializing, but without the "Initialize" stroke). Also the buttons for the LCD display do not work. For example, I cannot turn the display on and off.

The joystick and the keys ESC, Shift, ISO,... etc. work fine.

When I plug the Spacepilot into another computer, but with Windows 10, the display works flawlessly. In the LCD Manager, the menu item "SpacePilot Pro" is also displayed here. On my Windows 11 PC, this is missing (as seen in the screenshot).

Is there a fix or workaround for this? Thanks a lot for your help!!!

Best regards
Dominik

Dominik,

Answer may be too late, but just in case I am posting it here for others as well... Had the same issue, LCD getting stuck on SpacePilot screen, lost menu, all while upgrading to Windows 11.

Work around was the following:
1. went to 3dconnexion discontinued devices drivers download page and got the 10.6.3. Installed, not a change for the LCD...
https://3dconnexion.com/us/archived-dri ... epilot-pro

2. opened Regedit (Run win+R, typed regedit, pressed enter)
3. Navigated to HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEMS\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntergrity
4. Found DWORD value called Enabled
5. Changed its value to "0" (zero)
6. Restarted.

From there on, got access back like it was in Win10.

Hope that helps ;)
