Google Maps (not Earth) support for SpaceNavigator?

Post by barrst »

Is there a known way to use a SpaceNavigator to move around in the browser-based Google Maps?

Thanks!

No, but I think it is doable through Javascript as Google Maps are javascripts emabled Flash movie.

You can configure your axis to be up, down, left right keys snd select application as IE or Mozila or whatever
Long Range Communications, Inc
If you think it is impossible to be done, please don’t bother those who are already doing it…

I can't believe that this request is ten years old and apparently still not solved.

Is there still no way to use SpaceNavigator in Google Maps? Or in the browser-based Google Earth?

The SpaceMouse zooms in/out in Google Maps.

Browse to https://3dconnexion.com/software/ to find out which applications added support for 3Dconnexion.

Can you help me with this issue? When I move the space mouse wireless, it will automatically stop. When I release the space mouse, it automatically moves in the opposite direction about the same amount. I don't want it to do this. How can it be fixed? I uploaded a video of the issue to Youtube and included the link below.
