Unusable Cadmouse Compact wireless mode

I bought a Cadmouse Compact wireless and so far using it in wireless mode is impossible.

Biggest problem is this sort of lagging (like the data rate of the receiver is too low) where the tracking feels like it is lower resolution or dpi, and the clicks are slightly lagging (where if you click and then move the mouse too soon it registers the click at the new position etc)
It's slightly hard to describe but anyone (including 3dconnexion) should be able to recognize this from the symptoms described.

The receiver is 50cm away, plugged into the motherboard so I don't believe it's that. I also used other wireless mice and devices and they operated without these issues.

I literally have $5 wireless mice that behave better in this regard than this mouse Cadmouse Compact wireless. What would be the fix for this and have other users encountered this?!

I also have to add: every time I connect the mouse via the wire the SCROLL SETTINGS get all messed up in windows!!!
