Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with 3DxWare 10 (version 10.8.6 (3819), 3DxMacCore 1.3.6.516 (516)) on macOS Sequoia 15.3, running on a MacBook Pro M3.
I own both the CadMouse Wireless Compact (firmware 1.21) and the SpaceMouse Wireless (firmware 5.05), both updated to the latest available firmware. The issue occurs as follows:
• After some time, both the CadMouse Wireless and the SpaceMouse Wireless disconnect from 3DxWare, as if the software is expelling them.
• However, the Mac’s Bluetooth still detects them as connected, so it seems to be a software issue rather than a Bluetooth connection problem.
• The only way to restore the connection is to restart the computer, but after a while, the issue occurs again.
• This never happened when I was using only the CadMouse, but it started after I purchased the SpaceMouse Wireless.
• I have also tried using the Universal Receiver, but the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or found a solution?
Thanks!

I tried to answer the email of the ticket that I had already opened and I opened another one but I didn't get any answer
Re: Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
I have had this exact issue for several weeks.
All drivers up to date.
I haven't really seen anyone else with this issue, so I just (20 min ago) sent a support ticket, jumped into the forum and you cooincidentaly posted this yesterday.
For me, the disconnect happens while using Fusion, and seems to mostly happen when entering/finishing a sketch. Sometimes while going in/exiting editing a feature in the timeline.
I use my Spacemouse Pro with the Universal Receiver, and CadMouse Pro with bluetooth. When the connection drops the CMP becomes a basic mouse (just R/L buttons and scroll). SMP is unresponsive. If I unplug the Receiver and plug it back in, I get the uncontrollable zoom out using the handle on the SMP. If I switch the CMP to Receiver mode, no buttons work, but I can move the mouse pointer.
Also, when the connection drops, if I go into system settings the 3Dconnexion menu doesn't show my connected devices or status. Just a greyed out SMP.
The issue can happen after 5 minutes or 5+ hours, and sometimes several times a day.
Hope we get this resolved!

Is the "3DconnexionHelper" process active on your system? - The process can be launched manually, e.g. in Apple Finder type the search term “3DconnexionHelper”.
Re: Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
When you lose the connection, the space mouse and the cad mouse remain connected to the mac's bluetooth and work only like a normal mouse that moves the pointer. The 3d connexion helper tells me that there is no connected product.
Re: Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
do you have the latest version of 3Dconnexion Helper installed?
Re: Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
The SpaceMouse moves the cursor only if 3DconnexionHelper isn't running.
To start the 3DconnexionHelper manually, use ''3DconnexionHelper" as a search term in the Finder of your macOS.
Once completed, verify that the 3DconnexionHelper process is active in the Activity monitor of your macOS.
The wireless CADMouse connects via Bluetooth and cable to your Mac. The Universal Receiver connection isn't supported for all wireless CADMouse devices by macOS.

anyway it's been working well for more than half an hour, who knows if it finally recovered
Re: Disconnection Issue with 3DxWare 10 on macOS Sequoia 15.3
I'm in the process of working with support, but the issue still persists. More now than ever.
I've had to restart 4 times in the past hour. The last time after only a minute of use.
I can't get any work done.

Other clients who experience a similar issue such as reported in this thread reinstalled the 3DxWare driver software.
Fusion frequently has updates available. I propose to keep the application up to date.
