Discounting In Onshape

Post by Innovate3D »

Has anyone else had issues with the latest driver update?
I use a spacemouse enterprise in PTC Onshape. Whenever I work in an assembly and activate a tool, the connection drops, and I have to exit the tool and restart the server to get it working again. The issue started with the latest driver update, and all drivers and OS are updated to the latest.

Hi Innovate3D

By the tool you mean 3Dconnexion device or some option in OnShape?

Hi Innovate3D,

I am using Cloud based Onshape 3d modelling and was using firmware "3DxWare64_v10-9-1"_b650 on my laptop with windows11.
However my space mouse connection kept dropping out and like you I have been closing the system and restarting so I decided to try the very latest firmware update "3DxWare64_v10-9-3_b671".

It is now become 100% disconnected with Onshape. Just a warning incase you consider doing the same thing.

I'm not sure if there is a way to re-establish the connection or uninstall the firmware, at least it semi-worked?
